The London “Daily Herald’s” city correspondent -suggests that the fall in the nrice of tin to £142 8s 9d a ton is not unconnected “with the ’release of large secret stocks of tin, this necessitating the iflising of possibly one and a half millions sterling in order to keep out-18,000 tons of the metal from the market ’so as to save the output restriction scheme.- / S' -
