Late this afternoon, after a failure to. interview Mr MacDonald, a bod; of hunger marchers assembled at tin members entrance of the House oi Commons, escorted by a large bod> of mounted and foot police. While those in the courtyard sang the Red FJag, twenty, leaders entered the House for the alleged purpose of interviewing their members. While conversation, at the interview was proceeding- about •a. dozen raised » sudden shout and rushed down the central, hull. to the inner lobby. The police stopped the rush and after a few minutes,scuffle, the party was ign, ominously run out of the building, the police holding them by the seiuff of their pecks.. Eight were arrested. Another party outwitted the police at. Whitehall and managed -to . get into the Ministry of Health where they locked .themselves in a room, shouting- and creating a disturbance unci! the police broke in and ejected them, after a short struggle.
