OTTAWA, May 5
Expressing the. opposition of the ■New Zealand Newspaper Proprietors, travelling across Canada to London, to the increased butter tariff, T. C. List, of the “Taranaki Daily News,’’ speaking) at a luncheon gathering at Winnipeg to-day, stated butter was practically New Zealand’s only export to Canada, and added: “We must pay for our imports by exports.”
