Bradman’s condition is improving.

Kippax is remaining in bed. He will be going to Worcester on Wednesday, but he will not be playing there. After studying the Board of Control contract, the manager, of the Australian teain, Air Kelly, decided that there is nothing thereip to prevent the .cricketers from accepting contracts to Use their autographs and photographs, as mentioned in a cable on April 23rd. Consequently, Mr Kelly i;A not taking any action, but nevertheless, he is discountenancing such proposals. *

The Australian Press Association understands that Mr Kelly regards such contracts as a breach of the. spirit of the Board of Control contract, and as being a case of the goose that laid the golden egg over again. The cricketers have met privately to discuss the situation. Some of them are believed to have accepted a contract for tlte use of their auto-? graphs and photographs.

AUSTRALIANS IN ENGLAND

The Australian cricketers will play the first match of the English tour agains Worcestershire, commencing to-day Fixtures for the next month are:— May 3—v. Leicestershire. May 7—v. Essex. May 10—v. Yorkshire. May 14—v. Lancashire. May 17—v. M..C.0, May 21—v. Derbyshire. May 24—v. Surrey. May 28—x. Oxford University. May 31—v. Hampshire. The test dates and grounds are:

June 13, 14, 10 and 17, Nottingham. June 27, 28, 30 and July 1, Oval. July 11, 12, 14? and 15, Leeds. July 25, 26, 28 and 29, Manchester. August 16, 18, 19 and 20, Oval. The last test match will be played to a finish if, after the fourth match, neither side has secured an advantage.
