RAGGED AUCKLAND BOUT

AUCKLAND, April 28
A professional wrestling contest at the Town Hall to-night between Scotty McDougall (Canada) and Alex Lundyu (Finland) went the full eight rounds. !|saeh man secured a fall—Lundyn in (lie fourth round and McDougall in the seventh round. The referee awarded the bout to Lundyu on points, the decision being a popular one.
The crowd was one of the most turbulent seen at the Town Hall for some time. ,
McDougall and the referee were both irequently counted out, because of the former’s illegal tactics and the referee’s failure to check him.
McDougall’s fall was obtained as the result of a series of rabbit punches, which dazed his opponent. The crowd became angry when the referee awarded this fall.
