The “Observer’s” Moscow cones pondent says: The first fruits ol the Anglo-Soviet treaty have been an nounced by AI. Saul Bren, Russian trade representative in England, win is visiting Moscow. AI. Bren state? that an agreement has been reached for Russia to purchase three millions sterling worth of fertilisers, dyes, and metals during two years from the Imperial Chemical Trust which will supply technical aid for the development of the Soviet’s chemical industr Another agreement has been reached for purchases valued at two million' sterling from the Afetropolitnn Vickers Company, while the Armstrong Vick ers Coy are providing tractors. Af Bren declares that the Russian oHmto Britain during 1930 1 will reach twenty millions, besides a great in crease in ship chartering.
