ANZAC DAY, APRIL 25th
The following hours of attendance will bo observed-- qn Friday, 25th. instant, Anzac Day. Post Office":—Closed all branches. Telegraph Office:—Closed. Telephone Exchange :—Continuous attendance.
MAILS
All mails for despatch on Friday will be cancelled- 'with the exception of the South Westland mail which wil close at 7 p.m. on the 24th. The / cancelled services will go forward on Saturday the 26th'at the usual hours. On Thursday 24th inst. a delivery of correspondence will be made at the public counter 1 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
