FRANCE’S NEED
DECLINE OF POPULATION

LONDON, April 14
The “Daily News” Paris correspondent contrasts Germany, where there are three million unemployed, with France, where the employers’ organisations are sending emissaries throughout Europe to enlist workers in order to make good the labour shortage in France. The French employers are offering high wages, good working conditions, and free return tickets These rewards are expected to lure fifty thousand Austro-Hungarians for Franco during the month of May.
The Alliance for the Growth pi Population in France has issued a manifesto pointing out that Franco with her stationary population, is being overwhelmed by Italy, and Germany, whose inhabitants are increasing.
