GIRL STABBED
A CURIOUS CRIME,

LONDON, April 12
A curious murder took place on Dartford Heath, near London. Miss Evelyn Parker, aged 23 years, was walking with her younger sister, Joan across the Heatli when a man sprang out from the bushes. He pushed Joan aside, and stabbed Evelyn in the hack with a knife, penetrating her heart, and then he instantly disappeared. A search was made by a large force of police, and civilians and defectives. 'They, dscoviered the knife in the hushes. Later on Albert Edward Marge ram, of Belvedere, was detained at Erith.
PRISONER’S PLEA
NEVER INTENDED MURDER
LONDON, April 12
Margeram was charged with murder at the Dartford Police Court. He was remanded till the 17th of April. When asked to plead, he said: “I am very sorry that it occurred. I never intended to do any murder.”
