RUGBY AND LEAGUE
The football season is close at hand. Meeting of therespective clubs are being held and cliib games will commence in April: The -English team’s tour through the Dominion is eagerly awaited and particularly by West Coasters, as the Englishmen will meet the combined Buller-West Coast representatives during 'the season. It is too early yet to predict the winners, but should our boys’ be defeated they will find consolation in a foaming glass of Westland Ale, .the representative brew of New Zealand.'—kdvt. •
