COAL MAGNATE’S WILL

SYDNEY, April 4
Among the bequests under the late John Brown, coal-owner’s will, Darbalara Station, near Gundagai, /which Sir Adrian Knox receives, is worth at least one hundred and forty-four thousand sterling, apart from the stock. The hometsead at Darbalara is ttm home of the famous herd of milking shorthorn cattle which number nearly live hundred. Sir Adrian Knox, ill .addition to receiving a legacy of ten thousand sterling shares the deceased’s coal mining properties equally with Mr Thomas Armstrong, who is at present the general manager for J. and A. Brown.
A legacy of scvjeu .thousand five hundred pounds is also provided under the will to Leslie Brown, stud groom and manager at Darbalara.
