NAVAL CONFERENCE
CONFERENCE PROSPECTS. (United Press Association.—By Electric 'lelegrapti.—CopyrigL j.) (Received this clay at 9.41.) a.m.) LONDON, March 28. Air Stinison conferred with Mr MacDonald this morning. The British spokesman explained that the Conference has not created an expe:ts sub-committee to discover a politi.a! formula to meet France’s needs. What happened was that it merely remitted the matter to legal exports of British and French foreign Offices, who ordinarily undertake such explorations.
The spokesman, however, definitely admitted that if what has happened is a political question, it has to he considered. This is the first official admission of the turn the Conference lias taken.
