BIG WINDFALL

It is reported tilt A.lr John AY a t son, who' lias a-drapery business at cpr:ugsimi, is to receive sixty thousand sterling, a portion of a large estate left by his great uncle, who died some-years ago in America. Tiie story is that the great uncle, John Andrews, lelt Ireland as a young man and amassed a lortune in Ameiira of between sixteen and nineteen millions. He died without a wile oi children. Nothing was known ol his relatives, and the money was held by the American Government, which advertised lor the heirs. After litigation, one of John Andrew’s nephews established the lainily’s claim; Air Watson’s share comes to him through an aunt, who left no will.
