MEETING OF UNION. The first Rugby Union meeting of the season was held last night at Greymouth, there being present Messrs A. Adams (chair), .1. Guy, T. Mclntosh W. Hannam, T. Scott, T O’Donnell, A. A notice of motion for the annual meeting was read in reference to the alteration of the constitution of the Executive of the Union, the amendment to be as follows That the Executive of the W.C.R.U consist of a President, throe Vice-Presidents, Secretary, one delegate from each affiliated sub-union, and one delegate each from an affiliated club witli a senior team engaged in the Union’s senior

competition. It was decided to ask tin* club delegates to come prepared to submit teams at the annual meeting, so that an early start could be made.

A discussion arose as to playing areas for the season, and a third ground at Victoria Park was suggested.

The President and Secretary were delegated to interview the Trotting Club officials re the list' of Victoria Park for the season.
