The award of the Arbitration Court in the New Zealand Related Printing Trades dispute was issued to-day, the only change Prom the okl award being in the rates for women workers, which are slightly increased. The new rates for female workers (fcluj old rates hieing given in parentheses), are as follows:—First six months £1 (19s Cd) : second six months £4 2s (£1 Os Pd): second yc-'fr £1 8s 6d (£1 7s) ; third year £1 15s (£1 12s); fourth year £2 2s (£1 1.75); fifth year £2 10s (£2 9s Gd); thdreafter £2 16s (£2 15s (id). The clauses in the 'new award relating to female workers are not to operate within ten miles of Auckland and Wellington Chief Post Offices.. f Letter press machinists, b'ookbiml-. <>rs„ 'paper, rulers, lithographic.pinch in-,, bits in Class 1 (cities and towns with a population of over 6000) receive. 05 2s 6d, and in Class 2 (population 6000 .and under) £4 15s. Cutters are to. "receive £3 in the first year, rising 10s annually to the fourth year, and then to £5 2s 6d. Class 2 being 7s below those rates. Rotary machinists, stereotvpe-rs and flat bed machinists are unchanged at £5 2.s od, with £4 ■Jjf for .assistants. The junior rates are also as before.

A new provision is the payment for work on Saturday night special editions, which is to be at the rate ol ;3s 9d pcfr hour, or at. piece rates, at (lie option of ' tlie., employ or., ' with a minimum of 7s 6d, including , tea money. Workers who are usually employed as pieceworkers shall he paid 011 the basis of tile average hourly output, or at. the nvte of os .per hour, with a minimum of 10s, including tea money. 1
