INTERNATIONAL RULES.

[United Press Association. —J3y Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.]

PARIS, March 21

The International Lawn Tennis Association, including representatives ol Australia and New Zealand, has refused to permit open tournaments between amateur and professionals which America proposed. It was also decided that it was unnecessary to change the rules prohibiting amateurs from receiving either free or at wholesale prices. On France’s proposal, the organisation of the Davis Cup Competition was transferred from the Davis Cup Committe to the International Federation.
