SPECIAL POLICE FORCE*

WELLINGTON, March 24
After spending five weeks in training the special police force for Samoa will lie abandoned to-day and 228 meu will be paid off, at a cost of £2736. 25 officers and X.C.O.’s will remain in camp and eleven privates will be retained to relieve members of the Samoan police force who return to-day,
