JURY DISAGREE

SYDNEY, March 23. After being locked up all night, the
jury disagreed in the case in which Frank Green is charged -with the murder of Bernard Dalton, as cabled .on November 10th last. Green as remanded in custody, pending an official determination of whether further proceedings shall be taken.

Th rank and file delegates meeting at Cessnock reaffirmed the all out policy for coal mines. The resolution is being forwarded to the Miners Conference at Svdnev to-dav.
RAILWAYS BUDGET

The Railway Budget will submitted to the Assembly this week outlining the various economics decided upon; also forecasting reduced fares and freights.
STOCK EXCHANGE. SYDNEY, March 24
Sydney Stock Exchange was brisker during the week-end, the turnover was larger and prices firmer, tending to recover some of the ground lost In the previous two or three days.
ROYAL SHOW ENTRIES. SYDNEY, March 24,
Record entries have been received for the Sydney Royal Show. There are over 3800 in the horse section. Cattle exceeded last year’s numbers and other stock class are well supported.
RADIUM AND CANCER
CANBERRA, March 24
Dr. Burrows, (Commonwealth radium adviser) states 2500 cancer suffers received radium treatment last year in Australia. The majority of cases were not operateable and it is expected five hundred will prove permanently cured, and about twelve hundred appreciably alleviated.
WINE BOUNTY. CANBERRA, March 24. The Federal Ministry has decided to grant a further nine pence, per gallon bounty on fortified wine for export, making a total of twenty-one pence.
A FLIGHT STARTED
SYDNEY, March 24
David Smith and H. W. Shiers, in the Ryan monoplane, City of Sydney left Mascot aerodrome for Cunnamulla the first hop en route for Wyndham which they expect to reach on Thursday. They will then start the read flight for England.
BANK CHARGES. SYDNEY. March 23
From to-morrow the charge for telegraphic transfer from Sydney to London will be 122 s fid per cent, one of the highest rates recorded and the selling rate 130 s.
