SLIPPER LOSES APPEAL

(Received this day at 8 a.m.) APIA, March 20

To-day the solicitor, Mr Slipper made an unsuccessful application to the High Court for an order for a stay of injunction, restraining the Administrator carrying into effect the notice of March 3rd informing Slipper that his license to practice as a solicitor was being cancelled, and that no new license would be granted. Justice Lux ford refused the application on the ground that the act of the Administrator was an executive not a judical act. The Administrator acted under Section 38 and of the Revenue Ordinance dated last year. Mr Andrews appeared for the' Administrator, Air Slipper was his own solicitor.
