TRIPLE MURDER

VIENNA, March 17. A triple murder, unprecedented in the history of crime, came before the oourt at Korneuburg. A young far mar, Franz Neumayar, is accused of killing his brother, and also two cyclists, both strangers, on August 3, 1929, by stretching a wire across a road connected- with an oi'erhead power cable, which ivas capable of discharging a current, of 25,000 A r olts into anyone passing. The case was without a clue until the police found that Franz Neumayar was an expert electrician, and that ho also was to succeed to his brother’s inheritance in the case of his death. Franz first denied guilt, then be confessed, but finally he retracted his confession. j (Received this day at 9.40 a.m.) VIENNA, March 18. It is stated Franz Neumayer was y jealous of his elder step-brother, Mathias, because the latter was entitled . to a large share of the patrimony, also a larger marriage gift. Matthias was returning from a visit to his fiancee when he met his death.
