SYDNEY, March 11

Vicious attacks 'by rats on children occurred at Windsor. The parents of Charles Green, aged 6, were awakened by the child’s screams and found one of his toes almost bitten off by ferocious rats.

The following night, a daughter, Millie’s, cries again brought them rushing to the room. One finger of her right hand was torn and bleeding where rats had gnawed the flesh away. Both children are suffering from the effects of poisoning.
