CHICAGO, March 13
Twenty years ago, an Irishman end a Swede, Mike O’ Poole and Chris Larsen, could not settle a dispute over £SO, so tl).ey took it to a bank manager, and they told him to keep it until they had settled their quarrel. To-day their investment had grown to £iooo. ' ■
The bank got in touch with Larson, who loftily declined to make a settlement.
Then the bank summoned O’Toole, who has turned seventy years of age. He used the blarney on Larsen so successfully that the joint owners -of the. £IOOO went to the nearest “(Speakeasy,” where they spent an hour over drinks and negotiation. Then they called-. far an c-tpial division of their money.
