After all had left tne cargo of wool, fibre, copra and frozen meat in number two and three holds was destroyed. Water-tight doors were locked to prevent the lire spreading, and so tar this has been successful. The fire in the holds is still raging. Tugs are standing by pumping water into the fore part of the ship. Considerable damage has been done to the first-class dining saloon, which is immediately above number three hold. The Australian mails have been

transhipped. The Conimorin will not leave until Saturday. Passengers will not he transhipped, but will leave on the Commorin. This morning the. vessel had a list to port. She is now thirty degrees to starboard.
