AMANULLAH

TRYING FOR A “COME BACK.”

United Press Association--By Electrn Telegraph—Copyright)

ROME, March 11

It is an open secret that ex-Kinqr, Amanullah of Afghanistan is still hankering after the throne. This is the real reason of his visit to Tuikev, as he believes that his return will be facilitated by the help of Kemal Pasha, himself a Reformer. As Nadir Khan, the present Ruler, is hopelessly consumptive it may not be long before an opportunity arises. Amanullah, however, is penniless, and is looking for financial aid from his mother, whose property in Afghanistan has been restored to her.
