Each was fined £o in default 14 days. Both had gone to Sydney from Melbourne, one saying he walked it. It was explained Shipping Coys, were taking great precautions but despite vigilance it was found after vesels put to sea that there were stowaways on board.

ARBITRATION COURT
WELLINGTON, March 12.
Before the Arbitration Court in the Related Printing Trades Case, evidence Avas given in support of the employers' case. The Court reserved its decision.
The Court commenced the hearing of the application of the Federated XeAvspaper Proprietors’ Assn, and Master Printers’ Assn, for a new award in respect- to the Federated Typographical Association. The claims of the employers are more particularly directed towards essential amendments in pieceworkers’ conditions and to a return of piecework rates obtaining in the 1925 award.
