PALESTINE’S FUTURE

'OAIMIK.siOX FINDS FOR ARABS

[ United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.]

LONDON, March 9

The “Daily News” states that it is understood that the Palestine Commission, which is shortly making its Report, will recommend that a wider interpretation should be given to the Balfour declaration regarding a Jewish National Home in Palestine. The Commission takes view that the time is not ripe for the Zionists to assume the control of Palestine.

The findings of the Commission probably will be generally in favour of the Arabs and they,, may raise the whole question of the future of the Uritish .Mandate over Palestine. Air Snell, labour member of the Commission, lias reported that he had made reservations to the Report but otherwise the recommendations are unanimous.
