The- Secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council lia-s received flip following message from Mr A. H. Giiiigan <xaptain of the M.C.C. team): —
‘‘The team wishes me to convey its sinccrest £tp-p'refyubjo.ii tp Die, New Zealand Cricket Council and all New Zealand for our most enjoyable and never to be forgotten time.’'
Mr Connellys, Chairman of the Council, states the. profit of the tour will ue Aoi-rt/. but tiie M.C.C 1 . will have to pay the balance of the, professionals lees. Alter praising the New 'Zealand batting Mr Donnellys says: “Un fortunately our bowling and fielding was of poorer quality altogether.
