SENSATIONAL COLLISION
EXPRESS HITS CIRCUS WAGGON. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, March 4. A rather sensational collision occurred at Ngarmvahia last night when the south bound Limited crashed into a circus waggon at a level crossing just north of the town. The express struck the sixth of a string of eight waggons, throwing it off the line. Two tigers in a cage were dazed with the impact, otherwise they could have escaped from the damaged cage, which was patched up promptly by the attendants immediately. There was a scene of confusion among the animals in the other cagey, including hears and monkeys, which were creating a din with their shrill cries and deep growls.
