Chautemps’ defeat.. He ha.s been holding conversations all day with leading politicians. The “Daily Herald’s” Paris correspondent states; The Radical Socialists maintain. their refusal to join any Government under M, Tardieu, but they are willing ’to participate in a Cabinet if lie only occupies a minor position. The deadlock is for the present complete.
