AMANULLAH’S MOVE,
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)
this clay at 8,30. a.m.) DELHI, Feb. 26.
, A report that ex-King Amanullali had reacjhcd Angora en route to Arghanistan, caused the greatest excitement in Kabul. Jt is likely important developments may arise. Amanullali must regard the nJtraLiberal Europeanising of the Turkish Government of Uhazi Pasha a natural ally 'in Islam and may ask its goodwill, if not acttve , assistance in an attempt to. regain the throne. Presumably such an attempt will be made from the north through Soviet , territory. Much depends on the attitude, of the Soviet, which always seemed tp regard Am.anullah as a revolutionary, but oil the bther. hand it is not keen on Kings, and will probably not commit itself to support Amanullali unless confident lie will win through.
GANDHI’S ULTIMATUM. DELHI, Feb. 26. Gandhi’s ultimatum to the Vice Royal on Congress demands is being presented on Sunday, calling on the. Government to meet them within a week. 1 ’at the end of which the civil disobedience campaign will begin.
