SCOTT v. SHARKEY FIGHT.

Revising his previously-announced training programme at Miami to-day, Phil Scott went through brisk boxing drill for the benefit of visiting Jack Tars and Marines from “HM.S. Durham” and two Canadian destroyers. Scott was effusively greeted by some of his friends of the Royal Marines and a thunderous cheer greeted his statement: “It gives me great pleasure to see you here. To my old comrades of the Royal Marines I promise I will uphold the traditions of the corps.” Jack Sharkey contented himself with a light workout, and limbering up exercises.

The Boston heavy-weight expressed great satisfaction with his condition, and is. confident that he will quickly defeat Scott, in which he is supported . by the majority of the members of the group gathering to witness him fight. The' publicj for the most part, remains more or less uninterested, and not excited. ‘ ■

SYDNEY, Feb. 26. At the Stadium to-night, in a twelve round bout Billy Richards 10 5, (Queensland) outpointed Jack Paul, 10.2, (New Zealand). A big crowd revelled ’n a sparkling, vigorous punching exhibition, in which, the contestants went their hardest.
