A SERIOUS FALL

So seriously injured that he was unable to move, William Char]front, aged 50, was rescued from the bottom of a 50-ft. precipice near, Manly, ..The man fell over the. cliff on Thursday night and was without food or water for five days. He chewed leaves and when rain fell he lay with his mouth open drinking in the raindrops. Amin fame men had a dangerous climb to reach Charifont, who is now in hospital in' a critical condition with his right arm fractured in two places, ami pelvis and ribs broken. Ihe man was engaged in road work, and it is alleged trouble occurred at camp when dial'l font was assaulted and lie : decided to go home. . Two men have been arrested in connection with the attack.
