RESULTS AT DUNEDIN. (jjv Telegrapn— Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, February 24. At the Band Contest, results were’:— Euphonium Solo, “Romance in K Minor” (T. KeigliJy)—Alex Ramsay (Queen Alexandra's Own, Wanganui) 07 points 1; J. McClintoek (Woolston) and L. Clayton (Wellington Municipal Train wavs) 5)6 equal 2. Also competed: C. Miller (St. Kilda) 5)2, S. Crisp (Wellington Municipal Tramways) CO, j McGrath (Christchurch Municipal) S,S .f. Turner (Dunedin City Tramways) 88, P. Cowishaw (Palmerston North Garrison) 88, M. L. Clarke (lvaikorai) 87, T. Ovens (Oamaru Municipal 87, .1. Cosgrove (Hastings Citizens) 87, F. Beadclle (Invercargill Civic) 87, C. Weekhan (Timaru M.unicipal 86, F. Smith (Timaru Municipal) 84, J. W. Ears by (Christchurch Municipal) 88, H. C. Vince (Dunedin City Tramwarys) 88, A. Wensla'de 'St. Kilda ) 88, J. McKay (Invercargill Civic) 88. In the evening the B Grade FirstSelection was played. The points awarded will not be divulged until Wednesday night, when the second test will he held, but the (Fudge announced the order in which he had placed the competitors to-night as follows : Oamaru Municipal 1, Hastings Citizens 2. Christchurch Municipal 8. TnvorrargOl Civic 4, Carterton Mun : - cipal 5, Mosgiel Municipal 6, Dunedin Oitv Tramways 7. The .Judge said he had difficulty in selecting the band to he placed first.
