AVELLINGTON, Fob. 20

Considerable, particular and general interest was displayed in the fourth wool sale of the Wellington season, fixed for to-day. Many of the wool growers have declined to. accept the current niiarket rates, and they did not send wool in, or they withdrew it from the sale. The utmost that tlie brokers were able to submit was slightly under io,ooo bales.

At two o'clock there was a large attendance of the public, but there were practically no buyers in the hall, and the sale had to be postponed.
