An intensive search of the Oonination district, combing out miles of bogland and excavations on the sea shore and dragging of a mineshaft forbid to reveal the body of Graffin. The police brought a diver from Liverpool and lowered him into a narrow deep Ballinassesla mainslmft. The diver reported it was too dangerous to attempt diving operations so the project- was abandoned. It is now considered that If the body is in the shaft it will never be recovered.

Mr dynes was questioned in the House of Commons regarding the recent discovery of a so-called bomb in Indian room of the British museum. Mr dynes said it was a mischievous hoax and no person o'f Indian origin was involved. He referred to the prosecution of a-young Englishman who pleaded guilty to placing a bogus bomb in the museum and was’ fined £2O and o guineas costs'.
