The weather was fine but. dull for the second day of the Woodville races. The tote put through £15,825 making £33,166 for the meeting, an increase of £3,349.

Autumn Handicap:—(l) Toxeuma 1, (2) Stanchion .2, (5) Mountain Heath 3. Won by a length. Time 1.57. Debutante Stakes:—(3) Tripping 1. (I) Appledore 2, (2) Hawks haw 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.2. Telegraph Handi ap:—(4) Arikinui 1, (1) Fernden 2, (3) Goblin Market 3. ’Won by a good length. Time 1.13 4-5. Mangapapa Handicap:—Limosin 1. (II) Mandy 2, (3) Paiko 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.14. Kumeroa Handicap : —(C) Mothplane 1, (9) Tentcall 2, (2) Skyrider 3. Won by six lengths. Time 1.57. Maharahara Handicap: —(7) Head Serang 1, (5) Bonogne 2, (8) Callanmore 3.
