CITY OF NEW YORK ARRIVES

AT BAY OF WHALES,

(Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) BAY OF WHALES, Feb. 18. The City of New York pulled into the Bay of Whales this evening sheathed in ice. It was a great sight, the first ship in a year. Now she is lying alongside the ice and will be loaded in a few hours ready to leave to-morrow. Last year she took twenty-one * days from Little America to New Zealand.
