LONDON, Feb. 17
L. d. Stevenson, of Jersey, belonging to the Indo-Cliina Steamship Company has written to his parents saying he is leaving Swatow in March in his own junk with two companions in an attempt to sail to London via Borneo, New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, -merica, and Panama, taking meteorolical observations on behalf of the Governments and trying to locate several islands which were- seen several years ago by passing vessels, and at present iinclinrtered. H,e expects the twentyfive thousand miles voyage to last two years. ’ .
