SYDNEY, Feb. 17
Ml.r 11. Theodore Price, who inis carried out successful experiments with cellulose, has nb\y,- invented a process for extracting fibre from plants without the aid of chemicals or netting, and good fibre from cornstalks has been produced, also synthetic cotton. He began his experiments in Northern Queensland. He now resides near Sydney. He expects to leave for America and England .shortly, and intends to visit New Zealand.
MIR THEODORE’S POSITION
SYDNEY, Feb. 18. A movement is reported to have begun by thu Labour Party to secure the expulsion of Mir Theodore. A special meeting of its executive will consider the Treasurer’s statement about refusing to 'accept dictation from outside bodies.
