The president of the New Zealand Newspapers Proprietors’ Association (Jjr C, W, Earle) to-day received the following letter from. Sir Charles Fergusson, dated February Bth: “Oii leaving New Zealand 1 wish to' express through you to' the Press of New Zealand and to all connected with; it, my great appreciation of the unfailing courtesy and consider-ation-shown to me throughout my time in ; this country by newspapers and, reporters alike. No one knows better than myself the tact.arid care that have been shown in the discrimination of: what should be reported hnd published, and J should feel very ungrateful if I did not acknowledge it and express my sincere thanks. Believe me, yours very faithfully.— Charles Fergusson.”
