The 'Rotorua Bowling tournament was opened this morning by President R. A. Gardiner in glorious weather. Fifty-five rinks are engaged. There was a record attendance.
Sir Joseph Ward was an interested spectator, he being much improved in health. Section play 'has advanced to the third round. ■’ ■ • -v( ••
