ARAHURA SALE YARDS
M. HOUSTON AND CO.’S REPORT,
Our entry at yesterday’s sale at the above yards consisted of 42 head of fat cattle and 26 fat sheep, which were submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. Prices realised were slightly firmer than those ruling at. the previous sale; prime medium weight ox and heifer beef made to 4Rs per hundred, heavy from 42s to 455. cows from 38s to 425. "W e sold as follows : •
On account of AO M. Patrick 26 fat ewes at 25s 9d; on account of W. A. Jamieson 3 bullocks at £ls 17s fid, 8 at '£ls ss. 2 at £ls 10s, 2 at £l4 12s fid, 2 at £ls 2s fid, 1 cow and 1 heifer at £l2 7s fid. 1 cow a £l2 2s fid. 2 bullocks at £lB /s 6d. 2 at £ls 17s fid, 2 at £l4 12s fid, 2 at £ls. 2 at £l3 15s. 2 at £l3 15s. 2 at £l2 ss; on account of A. Richards 1 cow at £ll ss; on account oft R. Bradley 1 cow at £8 12s fid. 2 runners at £5 17s fid. 1 at £3 2s fid: on account of T. Staines 1 cow at £9 17s fid. 1 at £8 17s fid. 1 at £9, 1 at £9 17s fid. 1 cow and 1 heifer at £8; on account of A. Appleton 1 calf at 22s fid; on account of a client Wow at £fi 10s.
