The anniversary of the Queen Mother’s death was made the occasion tor an amnesty under which artillery office ns ei'e not only pardoned, but reappointed to their old ranks and posts, professors and students rehabilitated, and officials and civilians suffering the consequences of rebellion, sedition and political offences were reinstated, and exiles allowed to return to their homes.

It has been decided to turn the Union of Patriotics into a political party, and submit candidates for elections.
