CANADIAN VISITORS
BOWLING MATCH AT DUNEDIN
[By Telegraph, Per Press Association. ! DUNEDIN. Feb. 8. A six rink game between the Canadian howlers and the Dunedin centre was played on the Dunedin Chib’s green to-day in glorious weather. The green was in splendid order, and the manager of the team, Dr Krupp, said that it was the finest surface they had played on in New Zealand. The game resulted in a win for Dunedin by 124 to 120. »
A rink of Canadian ladies played a rink from Diinedin, the latter proving too strong for their opponents. The visitors were entertained at a social to-night. They will leave for Central Otago to-morrow morning.
