IN LIQUIDATION
INDIAN BROADCASTING COY
[United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] I DELHI, February 1. The Indian Broadcasting Company is going into voluntary liquidation at the end of February. During the past three years the company has spent five lakhs oif rupees in excess of its income, in addition to the capital it has laid out on plant. The failure is attributed to a refusal by the listeners to take out licenses, and to a difficulty in arranging programmes to suit both Europeans and the Indians, and also to the interference that atmospherics have caused with wireless reception.
