WOOL SLUMP
REACTIONS IN SYDNEY
(Australian Press Association) SYDNEY, Feb. 2. The wool sold during the past week in Sydney amounts nearly to 24,000 hales.
The prices have declined by from iO to 15 per cent. The weakness which characterised the investment stock exchange lately was further in evidence yesterday, when Barrier mining shares were lower, as also were’ the prices of tin and gold ventures. Taranaki oil shares were one shilling down, at 3s lid. Colonial Sugar Coy shores receded 7s 6d, to £42 175.6 d.
