WHAT SOUTH WESTLAND CAN DO Opening of the freezing works in Canterbury, caused briskness in the marketing of fat stock, lambs and sheep from the coast. Most of the movement is traceable to South Westland, the one great country which, when tapped by a railway and subdivded into properly workable aileas will rank among the most famous fat Stock producing areas in the Dominion, —Auckland Weekly.
