The course was in good condition, and a large crowd witnessed-good racing. The totalisator receipts were £45,613-1 compared with £41,704. Trial Stakes.—(s) Honiton 1; (13) Chroniadyne 2; (3) New Boy 3. Won by two and n-half lengths; a neck Time 1.29 4-5. Orewa Highweight.—(2) Luminary 1 ; (4) King’s Guard 2; (1) Cybele 3. Won by a head; two and a-lielif lengths Time 1.57.
Zealandia Handicap.—(lo) Mirtlui 1, (I) Sir Russell 2.; (2) White Wings 3. Maori Boy finished third, but could not draw the weight, and third place was awarded to White Wings. Won by half,a length; a neck. Time 1.28. Takapuna Cup.—(2) Prodice 1; (3) Corinax 2; (1) Royal Doulton 3. Won by a neck; third horse three-quarters of a length away. Time 2.22 2-5. Ferry Handicap.—(3) Tuki 1; (17.) Valimond 2; (16) Carl Idem 3. Won by two lengths; one and a-half. Time 1.29. Relation fell and broke its leg about three furlongs from home and was later destroyed. Calliope Handicap.—(l) Hard Words L; (5) Tremetus 2; (7) Full Measure 3. Won by. three , quarters of a length; two lengths. Time 1.2 3-0. C. Eastwood fell from Top Star in the preliminary and broke his collar bone, also

Alter rain overnight, also this morning, the weather was line and the course excellent for the meeting of the Pahiatua Racing Club. There was a large attendance, and Hon. Mr Ransom, Member for the District, present the gold cup to the owner o'i the winner of the principal event. The totalisator took £14,141 compared with £14,432 last year.
