GIRL SCALPED
HAIR CAUGHT IN MACHINE. (Received this day at 11 a.m., MELBOURNE, Jan. 29. Catherine Thorpe, aged 17, had a terrifying experience when her hair was caught in a grip machine in a cereal factory. She was completely scalped before workmates could switch off the power. She was rushed to a hospital in a critical condition. She remained conscious throughout.
