The main attraction at the Anniversary Regatta in Sydney Harbour today was a sailing race described as an all yacht race, which was won by the Bona from uniekah 11. Venessa, the winner of the Sayonara Cup' recently, was fourth, and defeated the Victorian challenger, Ac-rospire, by over five minutes.
The eighteen footers’ race was won by Mississippi with Arakoon second. The Peninsula liner Maloja, was the flagship, whereon the Governor-Gen-eral (Lord Stonehaven), Premier Bavin and other prominents, whose speeches'all referred with regret to the. impending departure of Lord Stonehaven, whose term is expiring. The harbour presented a fine sight. The ships were dressed with hunting, scores of yachts competing in the various events.
